This book is very informative. It provides a variety of places to visit. I will know how accurate after the family actually travels to Wisconsin :)

This was a gift to friends who moved to WI to help them get to know their new state.

It's really nothing you can't find on google or the WI DNR website. But, it gives information at the turn of a page and really saves you time. Would be a great thing to take anywhere you go for weekend trips or longer. I'm an avid paddler and this helps me to find rivers, lakes, and camping spots along all of these wonderful places to be. I would recommend it!!

This guide is a necessity if you travel in Wisconsin. Our family has rediscovered old childhood haunts and discovered some of Wisconsin's natural treasures that were otherwise unknown to us. This book shares in-depth information vital to state park campers, such as electric sites, beach, nature programs, etc. You can really plan a tailor-made state park vacation based on the information in this book!

So much information - perfect for any age. Great directions and descriptions. Don't leave home without it!

Aquascaping: Aquarium Landscaping Like a Pro, Second Edition: Aquarist's Guide to Planted Tank Aesthetics and DesignThis book is quite basic and very disappointing if you want more than a basic introduction to aquascaping. It's a far cry from the pro level (in fact I'm still crying that I bought a book that turned out to be black and white). I have read the very same information on the web, so it's disappointing to have paid so much for it. I'm not interested in salt water because of the lack of plants for it so I skipped that section.

Not what I expected. Mostly directed at saltwater tanks than freshwater. It was very short and contained no more info than an article at one if the fish magazines online. All of the info was accurate but didn't add anything to my knowledge . No specifics on plants or tips on how to grow them specifically. And few pictures. Oh well.

The cover of the book is its best asset. I thought I was buying a book about landscaping a planted tank and published by a real publisher. I bought this book along with Freshwater Aquarium Chemistry and both books are very short in length and very amateurish in execution. I was surprised that the author attempted to cover both planted and reef tanks one short monographs. The information was very disjointed. Mr. Martin would have been more successful if he concentrated on planted tanks and helped hobbyists like myself achieve the beautiful tanks showcased in AGA competitions. The information is woefully inadequate for that goal. I would highly recommend that readers steer clear of self-published books like this. The Barron's series of aquarium books are examples of professionally written, organized and printed hobbyist books.

This is a decent book about setting up a new tank for a beginner and it quickly covers a lot of ground in very general terms. Only about 10% of the book actually discusses aquascaping and everything that the author does cover you can find online for free. In fact, there are many, many more interesting and detailed discussions of aquascaping in online magazines and forums. I would skip this Kindle book.

The guy's name is Moe Martin. This is important. Because when it's listed as authors names are in bibliographies, it looks like, "Martin, Moe". I saw this in the author description, and thought, 'whoa, wow, Martin Moe, the actual, good, bright, together marine author wrote a book on planted tanks? That's got to be gold. I wonder what kind of insight he could bring to the subject matter.".None, would be the answer. Because it's not the same guy. I am a moron for missing that critical comma. My bad, naturally.. but now that I'm stuck with this stinkburger of a book I can say: Some useful ideas, some pretty pictures, but dreadfully incoherent and not really good reading. My bookshelf teems with less sucky books about Aquarium Landscaping. Some of those books are about other subjects, but have more and better information. You could do better by reading some random aquascaping-related pages on the internet. It's not worth the money or your time. This guy's book could've really been something if it had had a real editor, and some real attention to content to make it coherent and not scattershot.. but if you get it, you'll be getting what you pay for: It's either self-published or vanity-press style drivel. Moe: Please! You have a good book in you, but for you to channel it outward... you're going to need an editor! Also maybe an outline, and sticking to subject categories. Just word to the wise.

It's not a very long book and so, even though it has some useful information, it's all pretty basic and you won't really learn a lot of new stuff. Plus, I felt like more than half the info in this book was about corals. For some reason the author decided to treat everything else very superficially and dwell deep into the different corals and how to take care of them. If I really wanted to learn more about aquascaping I would definitely be looking elsewhere.

The cover misleads. This book contains poor, blurry black and white photos. If you are setting up a freshwater tank, less than half of the thin book will pertain to you. You can get the about of information in this book by spending about 30 minutes on a good aquascaping website.

This book is a must buy for all those inspiring game makers out there. I really got my money’s worth out of it. The book covers all the skills needed to create a full game from start to finish and gives example and code throughout. Unlike what the title says, it took me longer than a weekend to finish. I do not mind the extra time as I feel it added value to the book. The most time consuming part of the project for me was the making the different maps. The book offers the ability to download the maps from their website, but I wanted to make them myself. Again, this added to my enjoyment of the book. A negative about the maps in the book is that they are small and in black and white. For most thing, B&W is okay, but for the maps, they should have been larger and in color. I had to resort to looking on the internet for the map images. I found them, and although they were also small, they were in color and that helped. The book takes you through the development of the game by making two towns. The starting town and a hidden town the players find via a quest of sorts. There are 6 levels to the dungeon crawler presented in the book. The book teaches you how to make new characters, items, weapons, and even spells. The book not only tells you how to do it, it offers minor suggestions on how you could improve on what is in the book. The main game from the book is built solely from what is available in the basic game. There is a chapter at the end of the book that talks about how to improve the game with add-in scripts and other neat ideas, if you so desire.Overall I like this book a lot and recommend you pick it up if you enjoy making games and you want to know how to use the tools available with RPG Maker MV.

I almost didn't buy this book because of some of the negative reviews, I would have missed out on an excellent teaching tool. I have zero exp with rpg maker mv BUT I had an idea about the rpg I wanted to make and how I wanted it to work. I read the book cover to cover in a few hours and while reading it I had my own game in mind. I watched the author work through things I wanted to do. I am going to start building my game and will be leaning heavily on this book for reference as I still technically have no exp.

Its an easy to follow guide that get you started very quickly. Before you know it your already off track and creating things all on your own.

I got this book as part of the Humble Code Your Own Games bundle, and, man, I am glad I only paid $1 for it. RPG Maker MV can be more than a little obtuse and difficult to follow, but I'm sad to say this book only makes it worse.First and foremost, it seems like the book's editor was asleep on the job, because the book is absolutely packed full of digressions, half-formed thoughts, and constant references to RPG Maker VX Ace, the previous version of the software that has no bearing on the 'tutorials' at hand. This would be bad enough in any non-fiction book, but it's especially frustrating for a book that is supposed to be teaching you how to use a piece of software. Clarity should be the primary goal of anything designed as a tutorial, and this book has absolutely none of that.It is almost like the book is a direct transcription of what the author was saying as they messed around with the software, no editing, no revising for clarity, nothing.Every 'lesson' in the book goes like this: the author vaguely describes how to do something (usually with a reference to how RPG Maker VX Ace was better or different) without any explanation for why you should be doing it or what you're actually making. He then says "then do it some more for the other things like this" and then we're back onto another digression.I'll share with you the line that broke me and made me decide going further with this book was not worth my time. I should point out this was on page 12:"Anyway, let’s get back to working on our transfer events. I believe we were about to make the exterior transfer event. This time, let’s use one of my favorite transfer event trimming devices: the Parallel trigger."It's like having an absentminded professor fumble his way through a half-remembered lesson he taught twenty years ago. I should point out that at this point in the 'tutorial' I had literally just been introduced to Transfer Events and didn't have any real comprehension on what they were used for...now the author is sharing his own work-around to mess with the program's built-in event handling process. It's a shame that there are not many good tutorial resources for RPG Maker MV, as it seems like a nice, powerful program for making RPGs. It's also a shame that Apress would have the gall to publish this incomprehensible mess of a book.

As someone who has always had an interest in the middle ages but never read any books on the subject, or done any research on it, this was very enjoyable and readable. I had previously assumed that Vikings and Arabs never ranged anywhere near each other, but in truth both of their trading routes extended throughout Europe at this time. The book even details a few Viking raids on settlements within the Muslim empire. Of especial interest to me was the Arab accounts of the mythical "Alexander's Wall", according to Muslim myth built somewhere in the far north in ancient times to keep Gog and Magog at bay--these being tribes of giants and savages that would one day break through the wall and destroy all civilization, bringing about the apocalypse. I can't help but notice that this myth seems to have inspired George R.R. Martin's Song of Fire and Ice series. Some of the descriptions of northern cultures in this book are so gruesome, however, that they make Martin's Game of Thrones look like a fairytale for children-- I'm referring of course to the eyewitness account of a Viking ship cremation funeral which seems to be one of the main advertising points for this book. The Viking ship cremation is portrayed so often in modern media as a glorification of the Viking culture, but what they conveniently leave out in these depictions is the sexual orgies and subsequent sacrifice of slave girls, and the butchering of horses, chickens, etc., the meat of which is all piled high on top of the deceased noble so that they can serve him in the afterlife. The author goes into great detail about this whole process, objectively reporting it without any emotional input. If you're like me you'll struggle with the Muslim names and terms, but keeping track of all the individuals in the book is not needed in order to enjoy it. Another con is that later in the book some of the accounts become repetitive, talking excessively about some of the more uninteresting aspects of furs and trading, etc., but after wading through a few pages of that you'll surely find something new of interest.

Reading this book takes you to times and places far away and long ago. It also reminds you that once there was a time when Baghdad and al-Andalus were centers of civilization, while most of Europe was a backwater.

If you've ever seen "The Thirteenth Warrior" with Antonio Banderas (an adult muslim man with out a beard?!?!) This real historical origin for the Michael Crichton book "Eaters of the Dead" will give you a whole new respect for both Arabic and Viking history. This book contains the ONLY known eye witness account of a Viking funeral. Fascinating and horrific all at the same time. A History lovers delight.

It is always interesting to read the first person accounts of historical situations. It is often much more enlightening than later "interpretations of history. This was no exception. Very readable.

Really enjoyable and astonishing in that Arab traders and diplomats ranged so far north, east and west, and had harrowing experiences that they survived.

Surprising how many Arab travellers there were in northern Europe during the Middle Ages. I wish there were maps showing the routes and borders.

Comprehensive history of various Muslim travelers who crossed into other countries and contacted different cultures, to include the Vikings. Well written by the authors.

It is a work of history not fiction. A plot description seems odd. It is an account by a traveler and what he witnessed.

Surprised by Hope: Rethinking Heaven, the Resurrection, and the Mission of the Church, by N. T. Wright

Review

“This book is N.T. Wright at his finest.” (Rob Bell, author of Velvet Elvis)His conclusions are both simple and world-shaking (Library Journal)This book will be widely read because it stirs together Scripture, tradition, art and world affairs with pleasing metaphors and public courage. (The Dallas Morning News)“Wright’s unwavering faith in the resurrection is quite evident as he defends the Easter narratives on historical and theological grounds.” (America Magazine)“N.T. Wright can write. . . when it comes to questions of Christ’s resurrection and what that means, no one is more persuasive. Wright’s new book, Surprised by Hope, builds on C.S. Lewis’ succinct defense of the faith and takes it to a new level.” (World Magazine)“In calling Christians to an epistemology of love and a re-emphasis of the Easter season, Wright knocked it out of the park.” (Beliefnet (A "Top Religious Book of the Year"))A crystal-clear, powerful course-correction for all of us--Christian or otherwise. If you want to know what Easter is about, get yourself a copy of Surprised by Hope and hunker down for the read of a lifetime....literally. (Phyllis Tickle, Beliefnet.com)

I don’t read an awful lot of Christian books. Most of the popular ones seem to be focused on either apologetics or how one is to live properly within the Christian camp. This book by Church of England Bishop N.T. Wright is much different from the norm of what most readers are familiar. For starters, this guy is deep. This guy is well educated. This guy reminds you of one of those stuffy Oxford-like professors that’s very high in the ‘knowledge’ department, but doesn’t always speak simplistically enough for the layman. This is not a book that one can read over a weekend. Such characteristics can be seen as a drawback, but in most cases, I found his prose to be a welcome change of pace. If you’re a fan of someone such as C.S. Lewis, I would imagine you would be able to enjoy this author’s writing style as well. The subject of this book focuses on the misunderstanding that centers around many western churches when discussing the eternal destination of the Christian. According to Wright, the common misconception is that we will dwell in heaven forever. Instead, Wright argues, Heaven is only a temporary resting spot, and one day in the future, all Christians past and present will again live on the earth under Jesus’ reign. The main drawback for this book is that Wright seems to want to overly convince his readers of this fact. He states scripture after scripture, hymn after hymn, story after story, to prove his point. It’s a bit much. I think the reason that such confusion exists is because, for most people, the debate of “where” we will be is not that significant. Instead, most people when discussing eschatology are more concerned with “how”. As long as we’re in a place “like” heaven, we don’t seem to mind exactly where we’ll unpack our suitcase for eternity. As Wright makes his arguments, he seems more driven towards left-brain thinking than right-brained thinking. He doesn’t spend too much time talking about what this new world will be like and what everyone will experience. He assures us that even though we will all be working and have some sort of job in God’s kingdom, all souls will, in fact, relish the experience. When it comes to such matters that are somewhat mysterious, the author doesn’t claim to offer heavy handed explanations based on what he might feel. If he doesn’t know, he doesn’t know, and has no trouble at all stating this in the book. The big challenge that he gives Christians is that if we are to one day live in this world with Jesus as our king, we must take care of the world as it is now. We must “get it ready” for the glory of God. I think this is where his real struggle is with a lot of Western thinking. Too often, many Christians today have “End Times” syndrome. They’re so convinced that Jesus will rapture the saints at any moment, that they don’t seem to care about things such as acid rain or global warming. After all, this is only our temporary home, right? This is what the author is trying so hard to dispel. Being a Christian, he says, involves a lot of ‘doing’ in addition to ‘witnessing’.It’s quite interesting (although many would find it insulting) when the author finds faults in many practices that Western (particularly U.S.) churches engage in every Sunday. He’s not a fan of “check off the box” salvation, and he clearly doesn’t believe in such widely held beliefs as the rapture of the church. I’m not one with a degree in theology, so I can’t challenge him on such sentiments, but he seems think that as a body, Christians definitely need to be doing more both within their church and community, and within the world itself. He doesn’t spend very much time talking about “who gets to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven”. He states that he’s clearly not a Universalist (although he confesses that such a concept might not be completely foreign to God), and the main reason behind this thinking is the wickedness that some people possess. I confess I would have liked to have him expound on this a bit more. He makes references to such obvious atrocities such as Nazism and sexual slavery, but where exactly does he draw the line? Aren’t all evil without the blood of Jesus? Then, some of his “evils” that he describes didn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. He quickly mentions “Hiroshima” for example. Hiroshima? What exactly is “evil” about this? I’m assuming he’s referring to the atom bomb, and yes, this was truly a very evil event, but who was ultimately responsible? Some would argue Harry Truman, but others would say it was the mayhems of Japan and their treatment of American POWs that actually caused the unfortunate event. So his failure to go into more depth left me a bit disappointed.I still felt this was an excellent book. If anything, it causes one to rethink and reevaluate such predispositions that many Christians have had, say, forever. Such debate is healthy, I believe. Although he doesn’t argue that one must “work” towards salvation (at least that wasn’t the impression that I got), he does plainly say that once one is saved, the converted heart should want to work for God’s glory – both in this life and the next.

Nicholas Thomas Wright (born 1948) is an Anglican bishop (Bishop of Durham from 2003-2010), and is currently Research Professor at St Mary's College in Scotland; he has written many other books such as The New Testament and the People of God Vol. 1,Jesus and the Victory of God Vol. 2,The Resurrection of the Son of God Vol. 3,Who Was Jesus?,The Original Jesus,The Contemporary Quest for Jesus, etc.He wrote in the Preface to this 2008 book, “At the first level, the book is obviously about death and about what can be said from a Christian perspective about what lies beyond it… I approach the question as a biblical theologian, drawing on other disciplines but hoping to supply what they usually lack with what I believe the church needs to recapture: the classic Christian answer to the question of death and beyond, which these days is not so much disbelieved … as simply now known… At the second level, then, the book is about the groundwork of practical and even political theology---of, that is, Christian reflection on the nature of the task we face as we seek to bring God’s kingdom to bear on the real and painful world in which we live.” (Pg. xi-xiii)In the first chapter, he outlines, “This book addresses two questions that have often been dealt with entirely separately but that, I passionately believe, belong tightly together. First, what is the ultimate Christian hope? Second, what hope is there for change, rescue, transformation, new possibilities within the world in the present? And the main answer can be put like this. As long as we see Christian hope in terms of ‘going to heaven,’ of a salvation that is essentially AWAY from this world, the two questions are bound to appear as unrelated… But if the Christian hope is for God’s new creation, for ‘new heavens and new earth,’ and if that hope has already come to life in Jesus of Nazareth, then there is every reason to join the two questions together. And if that is so, we find that answering the one is also answering the other.” (Pg. 5)He observes, “the robust Jewish and Christian doctrine of the resurrection… gives more value, not less, to the present world and to our present bodies… The classic Christian doctrine, therefore, is actually far more powerful and revolutionary than the Platonic one… A piety that sees death as the moment of ‘going home at last’ … has no quarrel with power-mongers who want to carve up the world to suit their own ends. Resurrection, by contrast, has always gone with a strong view of God’s justice and of God as the good creator. Those twin beliefs give rise not to a meek acquiescence to injustice in the world but to a robust determination to oppose it.” (Pg. 26-27)He points out, “much Christian and sub-Christian tradition has assumed that we all do indeed have souls that need saving and that the soul, if saved, will be the part of us that goes to heaven when we die. All this, however, finds minimal support in the New Testament, including the teaching of Jesus, where the word ‘soul’ … reflects not to a disembodied entity… but rather to what we would call the whole person or personality… the idea that every human possesses and immortal soul, which is the ‘real’ part of them, finds little support in the Bible.” (Pg. 28)He strongly rejects “the revisionist position on Jesus’s resurrection… that the earliest Christians believed that Jesus after his death had been exalted to heaven or that they had a strange sense that his mission… we now going ahead in a new way and that this kind of belief let them to say he’d been raised from the dead…We all can have visions. Plenty of people dream about recently dead friends… That doesn’t mean they’ve been raised from the dead… this [revisionist] solution isn’t just incredible, it’s impossible… A little bit of disciplined historical imagination is all it takes to blow away enormous piles of so-called historical criticism.” (Pg. 48-50)He observes, “the resurrection narratives in the gospels never, ever say anything like, ‘Jesus is raised, therefore we shall go to heaven when we die.’ … No. Insofar as the event is interpreted, Easter has a very this-worldly, present-age meaning: Jesus is raised, so he is the Messiah, and therefore he is the world’s true Lord… so we must act as his heralds, announcing his lordship to the entire world, making his kingdom come on earth as in heaven!” (Pg. 56) He concludes, “Jesus’s tomb really was empty… the disciples really did encounter him in ways that convinced them that he was not simply a ghost or hallucination.” (Pg. 58)He suggests that in 1 Corinthians 15, “Paul is clearly articulating a theology of a NEW CREATION. Every force, every authority in the whole cosmos, will be subjected to the Messiah, and finally death itself will give up its power… Death as we now know it is the last enemy, not a good part of the good creation; and therefore death must be defeated if the life-giving God is to be honored as the true lord of the world. When this has happened… Jesus the Messiah… will hand over the rule of the kingdom to his father, and God will be all in all.” (Pg. 99-100)He states, “The word ‘eschatology’ … doesn’t just refer to death, judgment, heaven and hell, as used to be thought… It also refers to the strongly held belief of … virtually all early Christians, that history was going somewhere under the guidance of God and that where it was going was toward God’s new world of justice, healing, and hope. The transition from the present world to the new one would be a matter not of the destruction of the present space-time universe but of its radical healing.” (Pg. 122)He argues, “People often assume that the early church used ‘parousia’ simply to mean ‘the second coming of Jesus’ and that by this even they all envisaged, in a quite literal fashion, the scenario of 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (Jesus coming down on a cloud and people flying upward to meet him). Neither of these assumptions is in fact correct… Now suppose that Paul…wanted to say two things… first, that the Jesus they worshipped was near in spirit but absent in body but that one day he would be present in body and that the whole world, themselves included, would know the sudden transforming power of that presence. A natural word to use for this would be ‘parousia.’ At the same time, supposed they wanted to say that the Jesus who had been raised from the dead … was the rightful Lord of the world… so the absent but ruling Lord of the world would one day appear and rule in person within this world… Again, the natural word to use for this would be ‘parousia.’” (Pg. 128-129)He asserts, “People who believe that Jesus is already Lord and that he will appear again as judge of the world are called equipped… to think and act quite differently in the world from those who don’t.” (Pg. 144)He notes, “My proposition is that the traditional picture of people going to either heaven or hell in a one-stage postmortem journey… represents a serious distortion and diminution of the Christian hope. Bodily resurrection is not just one odd bit of that hope. It is the element that gives shape and meaning to the rest of the story we tell about god’s ultimate purposes.” (Pg. 148) He adds, “Resurrection … was a way of talking about a new bodily life AFTER whatever state of existence one might enter immediately upon death. It was, in other words, life AFTER life after death.” (Pg. 151) Later, he reiterates, “The ultimate destination is (once more) NOT ‘going to heaven when you die’ but being bodily raised into the transformed, glorious likeness of Jesus Christ.” (Pg. 168)He contends, “The word ‘immortality’ is often used to mean ‘DISEMBODIED immortality,’ and it is sometimes used in a sharp contrast with resurrection. As a result, we easily forget Paul’s point about the resurrection body. It will be a body, but it will not be subject to mortality… There is a world of difference between this belief and a belief in an ‘immortal soul.’ … In the New Testament, however, immortality is something that only God possesses by nature and that he then shares, as a gift of grace rather than an innate possession, with his people.” (Pg. 160-161)He explains, “I do not believe in a purgatory as a place, a time, or a state… In fact, Paul makes it clear… that it’s the present life that is meant to function as a purgatory. The sufferings of the present time, not of some postmortem state, are the valley through which we have to pass in order to reach the glorious future… The myth of purgatory is an allegory, a projection from the present onto the future. This is why purgatory appeals to the imagination.” (Pg. 170-171) However, “Since both the departed saints and we ourselves are in Christ, we share with them in the ‘communion of saints.’ They are still our brothers and sisters in Christ… Why then should we not pray for and with them?” (Pg. 172)Of the final judgement, he says, “I find it quite impossible… to suppose that there will be no ultimate condemnation, no final loss, no human beings to whom, as C.S. Lewis put it, God will eventually say, ‘THY will be done.’ I wish it were otherwise…” (Pg. 180) He continues, “My suggestion is that it is possible for human beings so to continue down this road, so to refuse all whisperings of good news, all glimmers of the true light, all promptings to turn and go the other way… that after death they become at last, by their own effective choice, beings that ONCE WERE HUMAN BUT NOW ARE NOT, creatures that have ceased to bear the divine image at all. With the death of that body… they pass simultaneously not only beyond hope but beyond pity. There is no concentration camp … not torture chamber in the palace of delight. Those creatures that still exist in an ex-human state, no longer reflecting their maker in any meaningful sense, can no longer excite in themselves or others the natural sympathy some feel even for the hardened criminal.” (Pg. 182-183)He argues, “As long as we see salvation in terms of going to heaven when we die, the main work of the church is bound to be seen in terms of saving souls for that future. But when we see salvation… in terms of God’s promised new heavens and new earth and of our promised resurrection to share in that new and gloriously embodied reality… then the main work of the church here and now demands to be rethought in consequence.” (Pg. 196-197)The last part of the book goes into political implications. (E.g., “the major task that faces us in our generation… is that of the massive economic imbalance of the world”; pg. 216)Wright’s ruminations will be of keen interest to anyone studying such ‘eschatological’ matters.

English is my second language. I like a reference that is clear, simple and easy to remember. To me, the book is not bad at all for the price. I have learned quite a few things from this book in a way that is easy to remember in various circumstances. I am sure there are many ways to communicate to others in the business world. However, this book is a good starting point. I like when the author differentiate the informal and formal way of business English usage. In addition, the author also gives samples of letters, emails as well as reports so that you can use as a guide. Good book and price. Highly recommend it! In fact, I am considering of purchasing more books from this author.

I recommend this book to all administrative personnel to purchase it  in order to enhance writing skills and improve our daily reports and emails.

At first it does seem useful and I thought to use it with a business writing class, but a careful reading revealed a number of problems. It does seem that she chooses what is formal and informal by tossing a coin. How does she decide that kindly is formal and please is informal, for example? Also some recent style changes have been ignored. Particularly the Oxford comma which requires the comma before and in a series, saying it's only used in Am Eng.Why are there formal and informal wedding invitations and responses in a book of "essentials" of business English. Maybe we should have to proper form of introductions between dukes and the second cousins of cricket batsmen? There are a few useful things that make the idea of business writing seem simple, but it feels under-researched and not proofread. I think the one sentence in the book that bothers me the most is the following.<"Its" also exists as a possessive pronoun, but it is quite rare. >Clearly it's time to feed the dog its dinner. Quite rare indeed! You should make sure the the container has its bill of lading attached. Rare as dragon bones.A lot of better books at better prices-- and more reliably edited. Not highly recommended. Not complete rubbish either, but it needs some collaboration.

I needed a book with some basic guidelines to write emails and letters and this have proved quite good in my business English course.

It is easy to read, very practical and useful. I searched for this kind of book a lot and this one is one of the best.I recommend this book to students and businessmen.

I found this book helpful. Some parts are a little bit over-repetitive, but it helped me improve my writing skills.

The writer of this book needs to go back to primary school! Within the first few pages I found several spelling errors. Also, many of the example don't include punctuation! Luckily I am out only a few dollars and so I won't be wasting my time trying to get my money back. Please don'y waste your time or money on this book.

Very helpful
