I bought this book for my 11-year-old granddaughter. She is a voracious reader, and enjoyed this book so much she read it at one sitting.Then her mother opened it up and also read it at one sitting.They told me I needed to read it. I started it late one evening, could not put it down, and finally finished it at 1:43 a.m.This author has written other books, but this was her best novel - about a girl who had been struck with lightning and became a mathematical genius with quirks. The book showed us how she managed to find friends and survive middle school in spite of all that. This is an excellent book for any child facing problems connecting with peers!

Yes, it was a quick read - I did it in under an hour. He claimed not to mine Bitcoin as there are too many people doing it. Not sure what he means by "Fastest Computer" if every one is using the same GPU's so with the low odds he gives there must be something faster besides the "Rig" he says I can build. So, he suggests other cryptocurrency but who's to say the same for that one? Soon, Antminers will be available in March 2018 and what then? I had questions on which GPU's and this does a quick over view. At over 1500 watts of power to run a good rig I question this but only because I don't think in a given area my OLD house has enough power available.

The text gave a brief overview of mining digital currency. It is very high level with technical information on some computer parts and a sample of how to install in one specific instance. However, it recommends more google and independent research than chapters in the book. Although some links exist, I would have rated 5 stars had those links been there. The desire for efficiency is not just something with machines, but personal time as well.

In any book titled "The ultimate guide...", I expect more than 30 pages of Internet web site compilations. I'm pretty sure this was thrown together in less than a weekend. From the front cover...."I will be walking your thew". Really? The author can't use a spell checker? Don't waste your money.

I was expecting to get a book but instead I got maybe less than 10 pages of normal book which I finished in about 15 minutes. Content is very general so unless you never heard of "cryptocurrencies" purchasing this "book" is waste of money.

This book is eclipsed by one afternoon reading mining or any crypto forums. I CANNOT believe I wasted 8.59 on this- it’s embarrassing as I’ve mined for 4 years. The description is far grander than this dumb book. Do NOT waste your money.

30 pages of the most basic writing on the subject. I don't think the author spent more than two weeks working on this book. In addition the typeface is double spaced and their is a line of space in between each line of text. Total BS.

Goal setting and visualization became a major part of his life. He figured out the preparation he needed to succeed and followed through. His preparation, even today, includes writing instructions to himself in a notebook. They begin with the words "Start again" and end with the letters G.A.B. a reminder that, ever since he was a boy, he aspired to be a Great All Black.McCaw was in charge of a side that hadn't been beaten for 15 months. In that time he also ended the losses of one World Cup after another for New Zealand when, in October 2011, he captained the All Blacks to victory. As a South African that was in New Zealand for the RWC11 that booked my tickets for all seven games a year up front it was such a proud moment to see the cup being lifted by Richie and the All blacks. A team that I admired and hated many times giving the bokke a hard time but special memories watching the bokke clashing against the all backs on tv with my dad in the eighties as a laaitie. Well deserved and great book on Richie's life and a inside look at the All Black machine.

Even more worth a read now that the legend has retired. It's a trip inside Richie's head during those well known games as well as his loves like flying and family. A really interesting read about the making of a great man, and I took from it some fantastic methods for success. Really a motivational book and a perfect gift for the rugby fan in the family, kiwi or not.

This is a great book. It's exciting, honest and sensitive. I really enjoyed reading about all the rugby matches or interviews I'd watched on tv and reading things from a different point of view, say from perhaps the Australian media. I remember watching the All Blacks quarter final against France in 2007 and being shocked and devastated for them but this really illuminates all the plays and thoughts of every minute of the game, which I found really fascinating.This is obviously for rugby enthusiasts but I really enjoyed it as an autobiographical tale too.Such a passion for life, his family, flying and rugby make Richie not just a G.A.B but seemingly also an incredibly decent and lovely human being. New Zealand are lucky to have him on their team. A great uplifting, inspiring read!

It felt like reading one long sports article. It was peppered with the perfect amount of rugby action, Captain McCaw's thoughts, and history. Excellent stuff!

Rugby fans and players from all nations will learn from this.Some understanding of the game will help but the meat is in getting a glimpse of the mental fortitude and commitment it takes to perform at the highest possible level.A great example of a "Win or learn" mindset.

Kind of a typical autobiography but after getting to attend the recent Rugby World Cup in the UK and getting to see New Zealand play--not in the finals unfortunately--I was interested in learning more about this man that the New Zealand fans were raving about. Pretty interesting guy on and off the field. Good read for anyone and especially us old former club rugby players.

An honest look at the trials and tribulations of a great rugby captain. It's the games through his eyes, the thoughts and the mental fortitude that it required.

Part of the hilarity from the original Rain Falls series is that India Bell wrote a sexy scene involving tentacles. It has been realized here, and I must say, it was ... kinda hot ... Anyway, what began as a humorous scifi lesbian romp evolved into a survival story of solidarity and community with a brilliant play on space and time based on actual scientific theory. The best part is that this story has just begun and we can look forward to more from this interesting universe of characters.

I have wanted to read this book since I read about it in the Rain Falls series. What fun! You do not need to have read the Rain Falls books to enjoy this novella. It is a story all its own with totally different characters. Grab your drink of choice, and enjoy.

Feralmoans....ha, i loved it!!!! Being someone who reads all the time, this was a nice amusing tale that my favorite author Kelli Jae Baeli wrote with her usually humor and colorful metaphors. The science was understandable, the story line was easy to read with the options of many more tales to come. Makes me want to read Rain Falls again for the 100th time. Thanks for the writing Jae, can't what to see what you come up with next.

What a unique book, that is so much more than the book described in Rain Falls. This novella obviously has the outlandish humor mentioned in Rain Falls and the tentacle sex, but it also has a very important message. The political references alone make this a book worth reading. Five stars.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I had to laugh at several places in the book because it was just too funny. I also enjoyed the name of the guy who brought down all the nations it's all too true at this time of age.

I got to say I really did enjoy reading this, good characters and a really different story.

Kuddos to Ms. Baeli! This story is fantastic. Talk about covering some ground (or space) in a short book---this is a prime example of brilliant writing. Science Fic---yes. Les/fic---somewhat. Adventure---yes. Homesteading--yes. Perseverance----yes. Bravery---yes. Humor---yes. I liked Story but it was Shrtz that really grabbed me----and can she ever "grab"! I enjoyed he references to "Clan of the Cave Bear" because it is one of my all time favorite series. I also thought the POTUS anagram was exceptionally well done. If you have any trepidation about reading this----just go for it. Everything that Ms. Baeli writes is amazing but this was a well thought out and unique story. Thanks to the author for a thought provoking read.

This book isn't the very worst of the cheap beginner-quilting books floating around Amazon, but it isn't good, either. It has some useful information, but not nearly enough to help a beginner actually learn to quilt. For instance, there are no photos to help you see how to do such things as sewing a quarter-inch seam or piecing a block. There are no actual patterns for you to try. Topics like adding borders or machine quilting are given very short shrift. The author recommends out-of-date techniques and leaves out key steps in her how-to instructions. Don't waste your money.

Not really what I thought it would be. It basically tells you how fun quilting is. Not really very informative or skill building. If you've been sewing for any length of time it's a waste of your time to read. Only a real newbie to snewbieewing might glean something from this short book.

Not what I was expecting. Thought there'd be patterns. There aren't. Don't waste your time and don't spend any money on it.

This book explains quilting for many generations...complete with full instructions for a new quilter. A list of facts, patterns, supply list for each type. How to finish off your quilt included.

I have purchased this book after reading another Ellen Warren's book. I like the way this author describes all handmade techniques. It makes them seem so easy, even to someone that has no prior knowledge. So, since hade made creations is a hobby of mine, I was more than happy to be introduced to quilting!

this may be a good beginners book, but for anyone beyond a beginner, I would not recommend it

I am not exactly a beginner. Maybe a confident beginner. And yet, I learned some interesting things. I would recommend this for all beginners.

Our church has the pew editions in the pews (of course). Here at home, I have 1 copy of the accompaniment edition, and just now 1 copy of the singers edition. For a lot of the songs, a person could just use the singers edition for the person playing accompaniment. Both the top and bottom hands are in most of the songs in the singers book. There are some selections that have only the top hand in the singers edition. If a person wasn't to picky, the singers edition would work for the accompanist, but if you want to make sure you have everything, make sure to get the accompainment edition if you are the accompainist.The Singers edition is great!!! It is spirial bound and easy to flip through for singers. Like I said, most of the songs have both top and both hands for each song. The dimension size of the singers edition is bigger than the pew books, but smaller than the accompaniment edition.Overall, is you are wanting to get books for your choir, don't just use pew books, get your choir the singers books, it will be well worth the money so that not just the soprano have their part, but the alto, tenor and base have their parts too!!!

This is a very nice addition to the United Methodist Hymnal. While I would never give up my regular hymnal, this has some of the more modern hymns and praise choruses. The price is good and I hope to get these for my church in the near future. This could also be a very nice, stand alone hymnal for a non-Methodist congregation as well.

I expected this one to have 2-4 part harmonies written for the songs, so I could at least see the chord structure and play them accurately. Some of the songs do, but the majority of them don't. It seems the lesser-known songs have only the melody line. There are no chord symbols either, so unless you know what the song is supposed to sound like, you're out of luck. I was very disappointed since I already had the pew edition, and felt this was not worth my money.

As expected. Larger size than normal FWS so it's easier to read and make copies. Has chords and a few extra versions over the regular FWS.

Since I am not the most accomplished church organist in the world, this Simplified Edition really comes in handy. There are many beautiful songs in the book which you may not find in other hymnals.

This version of TFWS is good for instrumentalists and singers - the music has melody/lyrics, chord symbols, and keyboard parts, similar to the more expensive Accompianment Edition. The songs, like in the UMC hymnal, are organized by topic - they seem a good selection of 80's-90's praise music, with some older hymns and such thrown in.

Good book for accompanying congregational singing. Not too simple and not to hard. Very useful for the church pianist.

Lesser known music. Easy to midlevel piano arrangements. Great book quality
