This Bible Study will take you all over the Bible as you delve into the answers to the questions that are provided. It is one of the best studies I have ever done, and I am learning a great deal as a result of this.Knowing how hard I am working gave me pause to realize that Anne has done all of this research in order to put this wonderful book together. It is a full year of study, but as I am going through it, I feel that I am growing quite a bit as I work and pray and get "Into the Word." It will be time well spent by you as well. God Bless.
We are using this book in our small group of "over 50's" at our church. Love that you can go "shallow or deep" with it, and that while each week is connected to others in a unit, they do not build on each other (each stands independently). This was important for our group so that everyone could jump right back in and not feel lost if they had to miss a week (or several). This encourages everyone to keep coming back when they have had to miss. Also great bang for the buck... 52 weeks of lessons for under $15.
This is one of the best bible studies I have ever done. It is in depth but it isn't boring. It is more like an invitation to get closer to Jesus. It is well worth buying. I highly recommend this book.
We are using this as a study for our women's group at church. Great questions and lots of "food" for discussion.
Love Anne! This bible study gives me the structure I needed. She brings me through Gods Word causing me to dig deeper. Challenging me at each step. I'm finally on track to experiencing a personal revival. I plan on reading this everyday, month, and year. Then starting all over again.
A major advantage in this book is one can start at any time through the year and continue from there. Like the way it is somewhat "seasonal" and appropriate for year-long study. Lots of referencing and looking up scripture which I find faith-building. Excellent study for a beginner or mature Christian.
This Bible study is fantastic. It provides so much food for thought and exploration. We are using as a group Bible study. Most of us go home and explore the lesson more thoroughly after our weekly group meeting.
It's May and I started this at the beginning of January. I'm having a problem staying with it. It's a lot of Scripture searching and I like that but I'm not sure what she wants for some of the answers. Great condition, prompt delivery.
